MANUFACTURING OF THE FUTURE
SCENARIO
The new challenges which the Manufacturing Industry will face in the coming years will require a radical transformation of technology in Processes and Products alike. In order to overcome the increasing threat of delocalisation and look at the growing need for sustainability, it is essential to move on from the traditional idea of Manufacturing, based on resources, to another, that of Manufacturing based on Knowledge, which implies a clear disposition for technological leadership.
In this context of transformation, we position ourselves by carrying out important Specialisation activities, such as contributing to the ACTIMAT Programme, on subjects such as Intelligent Control and latest generation Robotics, participating in the European Technology Platform MANUFUTURE and working on the CONFEL Project (Shaped Laser Technology applied to the Automotive Sector).
