It is therefore necessary to interact with the Public Sector at all times, both as an individual and as a company. For that reason, the Public Institutions must be at the forefront of the application of Technologies that facilitate and improve the Quality of the Service they offer to their clients.

The wide variety of services that must be covered by the Administrations includes many different sectors, such as Public Health, Industry, Society, Sports, and Tourism, among many others, requiring an equally wide range of technologies.

EXPERTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INNOVATION SOCIETY

The Administration or Public Sector, which forms an essential link in the Value Chain, is offered methodological and technological Consultancy Services that enable it to provide Citizens and Companies with the best possible service.

We provide support to the Administration in the design and implementation of Innovation Policies that help Companies in particular and Society in general to Innovate in a systematic way and create the Culture of Innovation and Creativity among People. We conduct research and develop Models of Innovation Systems and Development of the Information Society (such as Local Digital Agendas) and transfer them to the Local Authorities by means of Training Courses and assistance in the execution of strategic Pilot Projects.

We offer advice to institutions in the acquisition and application of the latest Technologies in public administration.

WORLD SUMMIT OF CITIES AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES ON THE INFORMATION SOCIETY From 9 to 11 November 2005, Bilbao hosted the "Second World Summit of Cities and Local Authorities on the Information Society (IS)", attended by more than 1,500 representatives from 67 different countries. Sponsored by the Basque Government and the UN, it is aimed at contributing to the elimination of the Digital Divide.

SPACE OF CREATIVITY The Space of Creativity is a physical and mental space designed to promote Innovation in Product/Service and Process, deliver Ideas and Solutions to specific problems. Besides the Creativity Space, there is room for technical and dynamic group sessions with expert monitors and specific training sessions aimed at helping Organisations generate alternative solutions to specific situations.

BIDEA EGIN Provides specialist advice to City Councils to help them advance with new technologies, and more specifically in the elaboration of plans that can put the city at the forefront of technology so that citizens, families, schools, companies and the administration itself can successfully enter the digital age. We elaborated a thorough diagnosis of the situation in the city of Mungia on the use of New Technologies with the representatives of the different collectives represented in the City Council, and drew up a four-year Action Plan.
